Will the car still run right without rear O2's?
I am installing some LT's and a off road y-pipe and I didnt get the rear O2 sims. If I just leave the rear O2's unhooked( or just cut them off) I know it will throw a code but will it affect the cars performance?
Thanks, justin
Thanks, justin

The only thing that you'll see is an SES light.
The rear O2s have no bearing on performance - they're only used to ensure that the cats are working OK.
BTW - I wouldn't cut the cables. The rear O2 sensors are the same the fronts and may come in handy as a replacement if a front O2 sensor dies down the road.

Using LS1 Edit, set the codes for:
"Does Error Set SES" to "ON"
"Error Mode" to "Type X = turned off"
Example of LS1Edit screen:

For all of these codes:

FWIW -these will only turn off the diagnostics related to the Rear O2s. We don't have the ability to turn them off, as they are on the export cars, with Edit.
