Idle won't stay at Stoich
Need help trying to lean out my idle. Am running OLSD and can't get the car to stay close to 14.7. It will for awhile but then migrates back to around
13.5. I think, I have my injectors scaled correctly. Could someone take a look and see if I am missing something. I am running the SVO 30lbs and I idle at 50 KPA. HP Tuners tune.
Thanks.

To the OP: I've had similar issues, but mine tends to show that it is idling lean. As soon as I am moving it goes to stoich. Yet it always smells rich at idle, probably due to lack of cats. I think cam overlap has alot to do with it as well. I'm also running OLSD. What cam are you running?

Have you tried just taking more out of the VE table? It's averaging 8-9% rich there. with the highest being 0% and the lowest being -12%.
Filter it to about 10 hits per cell and multiply the full percentage to your VE. Also take away about 3-4% from your high map cells. You're a little rich up there too. Then hand modify the unhit cells, smooth one time and log again.

Yeah I am still working on the WOT fueling. I am running the GM Hot Cam and am trying to stay away from the alcohol fuel. Using a gas station that clams to be 100% gasoline, so don't think that is the problem. I have been using the RTT with HP Tuners and when I make an adjustment on the VE there I can get it to Stoich and it will stay there. But then the next day it is right back to rich. I will keep playing with the VE and see but I don't have a clue if it is not the VE values.
Thanks for the replys.

Yes. Once I make the adjustment in the RTT I then copy and paste it into the actual tune. Last night at the strip it was going both ways. One minute it seemed to be spot on, the next it was rich again, then it would go lean. Is this normal when you don't run O2's? Having the A/F bounce around like this cause of the IAT's and ECT's? Am I expecting to much for it to stay close to 14.7 all the time? What +/- percentage is normal for it to stay at? I know LTFT's are +-2 is the window bigger for OLSD?

Are you talking about right when you crank it up it's having trouble staying at stoich? You are supposed to log when you are at normal operating temperature allowing the WB to be warmed.

You might experiment with turning "Open Loop STFT" on and
off. This ought to bring you to stoich every time (if on) but
that presumes your narrowbands read accurately with your
cam & exhaust. Do you have them enabled or disabled now?
Stock default is disabled. It's a way to get some degree of
tolerance to environmental drifts etc.

Sorry I wasn't clear on this. But I don't have O2's in the car anymore. been out about 2 years. My reference to LTFT's was just to see if you can expect the same kind of % Error in OLSD. Isn't that what everyone tries to shoot for in closed loop +-2%? Didn't know if that was possible or not in OL. Just trying to figure out how to compensate for outside conditions to maintain commanded A/F without O2's, if possible.
