Hello,
Is there anyone on here using a Abaco Digital MAF on their LSX car? You see them advertised but never heard of anyone actually using them.
http://www.abacoperformance.com/
Also, what do they cost?
If they really do work, they should really help out with the big cammed / stroker cars
Any real info, results, opinions would be greatly appreciated. Good, bad, etc.
Thanks,
Bill

The website you posted has a 'where to buy' link. One sample reseller lists the 85mm version at $380 an the 97mm version at $390. It supports a higher frequency, but what if your PCM MAF table doesn't support those higher frequencies how do you take advantage of it? Looking at the software manual, it appears you can create custom MAF curves... which you can already do in tuning software. Maybe someone else can show me the light.

I was trying to run down actual vendors and all the
ones I tried, did not actually have the product listed.
And I could find no 85mm version info at all.
I think it's great that they actually publish the cal
data for tuner use. I hope they catch on and kill
Granatelli, SLP and all other no-data clowns.

I just talked to a guy at Abaco and sounds like a great product. He said they are a SMALL company and do their best to advertise.
Retail they are around $420 each
I mentioned I haven't heard of anyone that has used one yet and he said Lingenfelter and another company in the south are using them.
I wanna hear real world results from people on here before I buy into it.
....maybe someone can let me test one out....
