93 z28 has speed limiter as said in the title my Z has a speed limiter at 107, alot of people is telling me that a chip would take it off if i bought one, so i was andering if anyone knew for sure, also does anyone have any suggestions other then having it tuned because i'm not wanting a tune just yet just something to get my limiter off

I have tuned (made a chip for) 1 93 Z28 with a manual trans. The stock cal on that car had the speed limiter set at 255. I would like to know the configuration of your 93 that gave it a speed limiter. Is it an auto or perhaps did it not come with Z rated tires?

my car is an auto, and everyone is saying that it came didn't come with the tires because it has a speed limiter but thats all i could tell you honestly, i don't know much about cars i'm kinda learning as i go, so if u need me to look at anything or something like that ur gonna have to tell me where to look and what to look for, sorry.
