EFI Live here I come...

Going to purchase an EFI Live V2 sometime in the next week or so. Dont wanna spend the money or time taking my car to a reputable tuner hours away and spending anywhere from $500-$1000 for a tune, dyno time, gas, etc. after every mod when I can do it myself AND know its being done without any corners being cut or shinanagans happening. So I have an AEM wideband already waiting to be installed and will be using the serial cable to log. Anything else I will need?

I plan on getting rid of the MAF and doing an SD only tune...just to set me up for the future when I throw on a FI setup

Any suggestions on a vendor? Been lurking around the EFI Live forums for a bit in order to get some ideas and info...

you are making the right choice. I recommend you run an innovate lm2. these are very accurate and u can data log in analogue without going to serial with dead accuracy. OL SD with a cos3 is the go.

Stay serial with EFI Live (though not necessarily AEM); it's one of the largest attractions!

One of the best things about EFI Live is being able to modify tunes via e-mail without having to burn a license. It's too bad HP Tuners doesn't allow this. Remote tuning with EFI Live is easy.

Hi Chris,

You may want to get an a 2GB SanDisk SD card, they are as cheap as $3 at Amazon.

Check the Resellers page on the EFILive website... I'm not sure which ones are sponsors here.
