Misfire in 1,3,5,&7
Decided to data log today. The log ended before I finished my drive on i95. I checked the 23 minutes of logging and found 1 count misfire on the four cylinders listed. That was near the end.
So I went to the graph and saw at 8 minutes I had...
9 counts in cylinder 9
2 counts in 7
2 counts in 3
3 counts in 1
it says I was at 0% absolute throttle so It was when I was at a stoplight but when I saw the single counts on the one side it was around 2,000 rpm with cruise control on at 70mph.
If anyone reads this I just would like an explonation. Would running too rich cause these misfires? Thanks for your help!
Would need to know more about what you have done to your engine to be more specific.
At 86 kph, 3 counts cylinder 6, 1 count cylinder 7, and 1 count cylinder 8.
There all very random. That was only a minute into the log. I'll post more info here shortly. Thanks fr all info btw!!

When the counters are constantly incrementing to large numbers then you have problems (and the misfire DTC's will set).

James again- yes I had to remove the stock one once, twice the car has actually dropped to about 500 rpm then it goes up and down for a second. It did it once after I went wide open a few times.
Mustang- it only did this once. The next time I looked at the log I couldn't find it again.
Rpm- yes I did see tht I believe around 44 volts or something?? But all four were working and only two are plugged in because of the exhaust I switched to.
Haha your the only one that noticed... I'm not even going to edit.. And I meant 5 for the record.
One more big question, I know a guy who has a dyno jet, I told him if i wanted to get tuned that I also needed to turn my 02 sensors off, he said I had to pay 100$ for one Hp tuners credit to be able to turn the o2s off. Is that true??
