Default 99 SS won't run

Hi,
I have 99 Camaro SS LS1 with 10K miles on it, it has a BBK 80 mm TB and SLP MAF and cold air intake and Diablo tune. I started the the car last Saturday and it would hardly run, rough idle and then die after about 10 seconds, when you give it some throttle there is nothing. It gave me a DTC of P0506 and later a DTC 0120. I have replaced the TPS and IAC valve and had the battery checked it is good,,, still the same problem. I can hear the fuel pump working but have not checked fuel pressure,,, I wonder if its the PCM???

P0506 is Low Idle Speed. There is no P0120 code on a 99 Fbody. A 99 with 10K miles on it. Sounds like it sits a lot. I have a 00 with 6300 miles. It sits a lot too. Sometimes it doesn't want to idle too after sitting. Ihe injectors can get stuck when they sit a long time without pulsing. You should really get rid of the SLP MAF or cut the added resistor out of it and put a truck MAF table in the tune but I bet your injectors need cleaning. Also putting a 80 mm TB in front of a 75 mm intake manifold opening doesn't gain you much.

Start with troubleshooting the TPS voltages with a volt meter using the schematic in the link I provided.

I unpluged the MAF and the car will idle when i plug it back in it dies again, the DTC with the MAF unpluged was P0102,mass air or volume air circuit low flow, I;ll try cleaning the MAF before replacing it.

I think the SLP MAF is Bad,, I have a new one on the way,, I really did not want to buy a new one, but decided to give it a try,, the new MAF should be here Tuesday and I'll update.
I spoke with SLP and they were certian it is a MAF diode that has failed,, we'll see!!!

You should have taken a refund. All you need is a 85mm truck MAF with copied stock truck MAF tables overwritten into your current tune. SLP MAF is junk! Do a search....Tuners hate them.

I put the SLP MAF on in Aug 2007, although there has only been 1900 miles put on the SS since then,,, I have heard the SLP MAF problems,,, if this does not get the car to run properly I'll go with the truck MAF and return this one,,SLP only has a short warrenty on these parts,,, thank for you input.
