Suggestions for mail order tune
I will hopefully be installing headers, ory, and cutout soon. I already have a k&n fipk. I would like to go ahead and have the car tuned after this for optimum effieciency for the headers, but would like to have the option of changing it down the road as I do more with the car.. i.e... heads and cam.
Car in question is a 2000 Camaro. LS1, A4.
The only company I really know about is pcm4less, but just wanted to get your alls opinions.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Look into FROST .. if you type it on the search bar you will get more info on him and his services.
I got my Frost mail order tune about 2 or 3 weeks ago after my LS6 intake swap.. Best bang for your buck. I was very satisfied and im sure you would benefit alot more since you are A4...

I just copied and pasted this from his site:
Mail order tunes (no street/dyno tuning) consist of (this is general, the tune will be custom based on your modifications):
Rear O2, AIR & EGR delete
Fan temp adjustment
Speedo recal for different rear end gear ratio
Remove CAGS (if M6)
Auto tranny tuning including adjustment to shift speed and firmness, torque reduction stepped down, shift-point change, changes for stall convertersNew spark/timing maps (makes HP!)
WOT fueling adjustment (makes HP!)
Improved knock handling
Throttle cracker adjustment
Many small performance oriented changes
as you can see you would get other adjustments compared to a M6 car
Here is his website:

I've heard nothing but great stuff about frost but if your getting a mail order tune to cover a heads/cam set up I would get it from whoever you were getting the parts from. Say your using PRC 215/MS4 I would let TSP do the tune since they see their combos every day rather than someone who sees it occasionally. If you plan on heads/cam more than a year from now go Frost for sure. No matter what though with a cam you need a dyno tune.

Frost is a great guy...if you go further than basic bolt on's though, I really advocate an in person tune...and if you're close enough to Frost...again, he's a great guy.
There are a few professional tuners who are willing to post on the tuning forums (the software ones, not this one) and provide helpful feedback to others, and argue as to why the PCM should be tuned "correctly" and not hacked...Frost is one of those guys...he takes it seriously, he knows what he's doing, and he charges a very fair price.

I say go with Frost also. The trans tuning alone is worth it. Its amazing how a dumb, bumbling, stock transmission can turn into a firm shifting machine with just a few tweaks in the old computer.
