Default E38 issues

I have this posted in the conversion section but thought it might be a good idea to put the link here to thread for so additional help.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...on-issues.html

Anyones input would be greatly appreciated. I am sure this is something simple that I am missing as my other swap went off without a hitch.

Confirmed through Brendan at LT1 swap that wire number 18 is not needed. Still trying to figure out the no start issue and am chasing wires not to see if something else is broken or damaged that I may have missed.

Locked up and I cannot do anything with it. We cannot even read it. When trying to read it with HPT VCM editor we get the below.

1. Gathering info Completed (in green)
2. Validating (nothing shown)
3. Requesting Access Faled (in red)

After the above occures editor will not go any further with steps 4,5 or 6 and the message below appears.

"Security access denied,Exceeded number of attempts"

Computer is good, however all stock. I put in the things to make it run your truck and start and run.

So your wiring is bad.

If you send that over, we can fix it, but it will cost you for the time to go thru it all.

Your computer is back in the mail.
