Default Get a dyno tune or use Predator for now?

I want your guys opinions. Late March I will have a full exhaust (American Racing Headers w/catted y, GMMG cat-back), JAAM Ram Air Kit, FTP lid with upgraded MAF, & K&N filters. I'm not planning on doing engine work (cam, heads, etc.) until end of the year/early next year.

So should I stick with the Predator for now and get a dyno tune when I do the engine work or do a dyno now as well?

i'd wait on the dyno tune till you get your engine work done if you already have a predator tuner thats just me

I don't have the tuner but am thinking of doing it since its just bolt-ons right now.

Then again the Dyno Tune is going to be $200 and the tuner is $310 so maybe I'll just dyno it

I would dish out the extra money for the dyno. You don't NEED it but you might as well since you're willing to spend the $310 or so on the handheld. With the dyno, at least you will know where you stand power wise and most shops that I know of will re-tune it for free or very little charge once you get it done the first time.

Yea that's what I've heard. The place I'm planning on going to is CarTek in Garwoid, NJ & I've heard positive things about them.

I don't know what you mean by "upgraded MAF" or which version of
Predator, but the old one won't touch the MAF table. A non-stock
MAF calibration needs more attention than you will get in your time
on the rollers. Might want to consider what you're planning and why.

MAF meaning Mass Air Flow Sensor, the SLP 85mm. I would like to stay away from SLP but it seems to be the most affordable.
