Default ABS inop, Traction control off, and Low traction light come on

Hi

I was driving home from work on Friday and all three lights came on when driving on the highway. I scanned the car with my HP tuners and i got the following codes:

[Brake] C0045 - LR Wheel Speed Circuit Malfunction (History)
[Brake] C0046 - Brake Pressure Sensor A/B (History)
[Brake] C0245 - Wheel Speed Sensor Frequency Error (History)

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Any info would be great

Michael

Check to make sure all your grounds are good under the hood. A lot of these grounds are around the airbox area.

Sounds like you have a wheel speed sensor thats either dirty, has a bad connection, or is going out.

There is one on each wheel hub in the front. As for the rear, it is either at each wheel hub again (4ch) or there is just one in the middle of the rear end (3ch).

They are super easy to replace and/or clean. They are magnetic and pic up all kinds of metallic dust and crap from the brakes.

I finally got around to replacing out the two abs sensors with new one and the following lights are still on:

ABS Inop
TCS OFF

I have no control over switching my TSC off or on. It just stays off all the time. I would like to get this corrected. Any info would be great!

Thanks
Michael

I would check the wires that go to the speed sensor. I had the same problem and it was where the wire was grounding out.

This....alot of times the wire breaks right at the connector so you might have to get a new one or fix yours if that is the case.

Mine was a bad ground. It blew the fuse (one next to ENG SENS) IIRC. Bought new bolts and washers for the two grounds on the rad support, cleaned up the other two grounds in the front replaced the fuse and haven't had a problem since. GL man.

I replaced the wireharness that connects to the wheel speed sensors. Problem went away immediately. Must have been a broken wire causing a bad connection.
