P0352 After swapping 5.3 to 95 bird
Finnaly got my swap in and in the process of getting it running but running into some snags had MAF short circuit problems figured out and fixed that but still have P0352 Ingition Coil B primary problem. Googleing i have found what it is but not really for sure where to go or start I checked power and grounds with my DVOM and i have 3 grounds on pin A, D, and H and have power on C. LT1swap guide says im supose to have power on D and B & C i will need a lab scope to see the AC wave lengths. I need to cut the wire and see if D has a short somewhere or when i repinned the PCM mabey made a mistake. If anybody has any experience with this code i could use some help! Thanks in advance.

Completly effed that post up... I was looking at the diagram wrong and got letters confused...I have all the power and grounds where they are supose to be now. I still get the P0352 and have a mis fire im leaning twards a coil is bad but i have to swap coil pack sets to the other side to confirm or find a good coil and see if i can swap one at a time. Please feel free to chime in if you got a sugestion.

coils are from a 99 or 00 truck. If i could get my snapon ethos to look at the miss fire data I would know exactly which one to swap out and swap it out to the other side and see if it moves to the other side but im gonna have to swap one at a time to see which one moves the miss...

i thought the code p0300 was for random miss fire and then p0301-p0308 were for mis fires on different cylinder. Any ways im gonna go out and swap coils to the other side to see if it changes this afternoon.

swpped whole set of coils from bank one to bank two and stillno change. gonna have to dig deeper and see if a wire is broken going to the pcm or if the pcm is even doing anything at all for the #2 coil...

How are you determining your power and grounds? Are you using a test light or a volt meter? Using a test light will not give you an accurate assessment. I have seen bad splices that will pass enough current to light a light but a volt meter will show way less than 12-14.5 volts necessary to run the coil.

I have been using my snapon test light. Hasnt ever failed me, and i have used it so much with different voltages i can look at the light and see if its lit up a full volts or not. I will go back and double check it with my dvom if you think that will help.

Make sure your driver circuit is not grounded continuosly. You can check this by using your test light across the power side and the driver side and having someone crank the engine while you observe. The test light should flash each time the primary side is triggered. If the light wont flash the driver side is shorted to ground.
