Default HP Tuners.....Tired of the rip off.

When are you guys going to fix the problem with standalone data logging? I bought MVI Pro 5 months ago and if I'd known I wouldn't be able to use the features you advertise I wouldn't have bought it. It took you 4 months from the time I bought it to even get it where we can use the standalone feature, but it still doesn't work with a wideband. You should really get off your butts and fix the problem for the people who already purchased your product. Or at least offer their money back so they can purchase something that does work if they're tired of waiting...

Yeah, because without standalone WB datalogging, HPtuners is worthless. Yeah, they should just refund everyone.

I never insinuated it was useless with out it. If you bought a car with A/C as an option and they couldn't get it to work after 5 months wouldn't you be pissed? You'd want some resolve too right? I don't feel like carrying my laptop everywhere I go, or for that matter have to have my $1200 laptop flopping around while I'm making a pass down the track. It isn't what I expected OR was told I would have to do. Would they pay for my laptop if it was damaged because I HAD to carry it around while they work out the bugs? Hell no they wouldn't. I paid $600 for a tool that does NOT do what it is supposed to.

You have a good point - that's what happens when one is in such a hurry to "one-up" the other...

I don't use that feature, but it sounds like false advertising to me. I'm willing to start over with EFI personally due to the challenges they've had the past few years. I mean, come on, it's been almost 4 years since they've had a non-beta product.

I actually just purchased EFILive V2 Flashscan myself to play around with when I get back to the states. I am a little frustrated waiting for betas too...and 2.24. I'll have my choice of either when I get back, so whichever I don't choose will go up for sale. I prefer EFILive's licensing scheme over HPTuners though.
