I have one of these hand tuners. But now I have custom tune. Is there anything intresting I can use it for, besides a code reader?

if the tool is unlocked, you could use the modify stock tune option to edit the existing tune for spark, fuel, idle speed changes, etc.

As mentioned, it will datalog and read/clear codes as well.

Thanks

then as long as the predator is on revision 2.xx or 9rxx, it will be unlocked...

if it's an old one on a 1.xx revision, there's no unlocking it...

Yeah, thats as old as they get. It should still work since the vin is the same but i would not be comfortable recommending it without sending it in for our $99 hardware upgrade

I still dont understand what I can do with it? I have a custom tune right now. Are you saying that if I upgrade the hardware, that I can change things on my custom tune? Or are you saying that I can replace my custom tune with it?

the Predators offer end user adjustments such as spark and Fuel adjustments at wot, Rev and speed limit adjustment and more.
The tool you have is older and offers less adjustments. If you sent it in, you could use it to modify the existing tune.

Thanks
