Default Need tuner in Delaware area

After completing my 6.0 swap in my car, it has been needing a tune. I will be doing an ls6 intake and a mild cam but I have not started the work due to not knowing where a tuner is around me. If anybody knows one in Delaware area, or close to. Please let me know

Thanks

Somebody else from New Castle,DE on this forum? damn its is a small world

Ive never used RPM myself (mostly because im poor.lol) but you'd be hard pressed to find a person who has had their car worked on or tuned there and has had a problem. Ive watched them do work and they are a very professional shop.

east coast supercharging.

nice guys to deal with. you drive or get towed in, sign the waiver, they hook the computer and rear exhaust sensors, then the guy comes back in half hour with your baby running like a charm.

cost around $400.

DIY.. Grab HPTuners and have fun... After the second tune it's already paid for itself.

Sorry, thought I had this subscribed, was wondering why I wasn't getting any replies. I don't get on here much, always working. I know rpm. Actually used to work there. Just wasn't sure if there were any other places around. Would be nice to get hp tuners. And I am getting a new laptop that can handle it, maybe it would be something to look into, that way I can lean it out for emissions

I have contacted a few locally and they are all around the same price. may depend on what all you need done. Everyone is a little different but id expect around 300-500 for an inital tune and around 250-350 for additional re-tunes. there not exact numbers just ballpark figures ive recieved when I have called around to ls performance shops over the years or what my friends have paid for tuning in the past.

You have a couple of other g bodies as well? Think i may have sold you some el camino parts before if your who im thinking you are

Yeah I remember you haha.

I'm thinking my best bet would just be to get hp tuners, because I still do emissions for my car and that will allow me to make a lean tune to pass when the time comes around. I just don't think I could bring myself to paying somebody to tune my car for that much, maybe I'm just cheap, but I mostly don't like other people working on my car

If you're looking into doing lean tunes, you'd be well off getting the pro version of the HPTuners so you can get wideband data in your scanning. There's lots of good help on here and HPTuners.com, but if you want someone local to ask about it, feel free to drop me a line.
