efi live help tcc lockup
I am working on the tune in my ls swapped c10, everything is pretty much good to go, truck runs and drives great except i am having trouble getting the converter to stay locked in 4th gear. cruising the hwy i spend most of the time between 10-25% throttle going up and down hills and every time the throttle drops below 20% the converter will unlock. It is extremely annoying and i am sure there is fuel mileage to be had by keeping it locked. Any one have any advice? the tcc is hooked up via relay to unlock it works perfectly. Thus far i have copied and pasted the 3-4 shift table over to the 4th gear lockup mph table and added 2 mph across the board and it works fine, but seems it is tps related. i have tried both extremes on the tps table with 0 change to how it acts. Is there some sort of hard code that efi live cannot change?
Any help is much appreciated!

First off you want to understand whether this is
intentional or not. Scan TCC Mode or whatever
EFILive call it, and look for whether it says "locked"
(or whatever) or "unlocked" or "--3--" (what the
mode where it "would lock, but..." code is in
HPTuners; dunno about EFILive). Misfires will make
momentary unlock and likely respond to throttle. If
you find the "inhibited" code then deal with the misfires.
If it says it's locked but is flaring out, that might be
to do with low commanded line pressure at low cruise.
PCM commands 0% at level cruise, on my car; had to
bump down the 0% force motor current a fair bit to
get the old TCI converter clutch to hold, weakly.
Scan first, then understand, then modify the tune.

Yes i have the tcc wire hooked up and working properly. Everything is working as it should be except lockup. The only time the converter will lock in any gear is if parameters are met and I'm above 20%. If it falls to 19% the converter will unlock regardless of speed load etc. seems maybe there is a hard code that won't let it stay locked...

I just looked at real quick and found a couple things. The 2 things that I saw right away were all your miss-fire tables are maxed out. I miss-fire can make the TCC to unlock. The other thing was you have (D1006) all 2's when it should be all 100's. With a 2 it will unlock anytime TPS is above 2% . I will look through it tonight again when I have more time.
