chassis dynoes in Kansas (or close) Where are good recommendations for chassis dyno and tune ls engine for 700+rwhp? I am central KS so within 300 miles would be ideal (from 67530). Thanks in advance!
Jesse Prather Motor Sports in Topeka is my choice. I use his shop routinely. He has very reasonable rates compare to the bigger city dyno places. Just google his name to find his website

Call DeWayne and ask if he will give you names of customers he has tuned (some are actually from Great Bend).
Don't judge a book by its cover. When I drove up to his Conoco station it looked more like a service station than a performance shop - but I was wrong?
So my first impression was not correct after he tuned my car - he know's what he doing. Since I have a 98 PCM he had to map a little bit differently than our cars with the later version PCM. But hate to see you drive all the way to OK. So call DeWayne first. Mention my name if you want.
DuWayne Landsverk from Wichita -white ATI procharged Z28 - 565 rwhp.
My Z being tuned at his shop.
I won't mention the name but he had to retune a $175,000 Corvette turboed Corvette by a world reknown sponsor on LS1Tech. It had been tuned with LSedit - believe it or not - just barely ran and only putting out 600 rwhp. When DeWayne got done it put out over 900 rwhp. I would expect the same if I spent $175,000 to build me a one only Corvette.
He has had to retune cars from a place in Texas too. DeWayne tunes Mustangs as well.

Wichita Dyno would probably be closest to you. I used them successfully for diagnostic purposes; I know they use EFILive but am not sure how sophisticated they are at tuning. They have a "DynoDynamics" dyno.

Wichita dyno is who I used. Made 950 rwhp, E85, twin turbo, stock pcm with COS he had his work cut out for him. I paid a super duper tech sponsor here for a base tune and support help. Figured as much as he (tech sponsor) talked himself up it would save money and time at the local tuner. Well the 1st tune was so far off it wouldn't even have ran so it was pointed out to the high tech tuner and he fixed it better but it still sucked. Then when there was other issues (missing file) he didn't have a clue how to fix it luckily Wichita dyno got it sorted out. And to the owner of Wichita dynos credit he never said a bad word about this tech sponsor and considers him competent. Me I think I got screwed by him after all his self aggrandizing. Rant off.

I spent $2500 in tunes at 4 different tuners (all highly recommended) until DeWayne in Hennessy finally took the time to do mine right. One of them even fried my PCM so I had to get a new one.
My car now finally idles, drives, and does full wide open they way it should and makes 565 rwhp on a very safe tune.
IMO the best tuners are those that use the Mustang type dyno and a good wide band and who know how to use each as they tune each rpm level all the way to full throttle.
Drivability is key.
