Tunning For Swapping A M6 to A4
Ive done a lot of searching on here and what always seems to come up is A4 to M6. Which is the exact opposite. My questions are if I take my PCM to the Dealer and they re-flash it will I lose my engine tune. If that wont work who can I send it to. Ive contacted Texas-Speed and they said they could do it but they change 225 for the engine and 100 for the transmission because they have to take it to the dealer. Its not a bad deal seeing that you get free updates for a year. Any input would help.
My Car is a 2000 Z28 LS1 with a T56 engine mods are in my sig.

Any dealer flash will lose your tune. The idle settings in your tune for the M6 won't be quite right for an A4 so just copying your tune to an A4 calibrarion will still require some adjusting. Plus you will want some transmission tune changes in that A4 calibration. What converter are you using? It can be done for a lot less than Tx Speed's pricing you just quoted. Who tuned it for the mods with the M6?

I Know the duration of the cam 226/229 not sure the lift but its not over .600 because it has stock valve springs or LSA. I still have my MAF for now until my new motor because in putting a 96mm intake and 102 throttle body. The stall is probably junk its a T-Max i got it for free. I was just going to use it to last me like a month.

I can convert your current tune over to A4 without losing your tune if your pcm isnt locked. However that doesn't guarantee it will run perfect since several tables will need to be adjusted for the swap. Idle, timing, fuel, etc will need a little adjusting most likely. I can do it for a lot cheaper than the prices you mentioned already.
