Default Innovate LC1 Wideband

Ok I ordered the kit, and It came with a CD, and a cable to plug in to change setting, but the cable will not plug into my laptop! Do I need an adapter for it to plug into my USB? If so where do I get this adapter?

Thank you very much! Why would they ship a cable that don't work with a laptop?

Try going to your control panel hardware find the USB your serial to USB adapter is on go under advanced and slow down the baud rate one step till it works . I had to use 9600, which was one step down from the default setting...I'm using a staples USB to serial adapter on my lc1
