Default P102 won't go out 99'

I just bought a 99' Camaro that has a P102 code.

I've replace the MAF sensor, fixed a broken vacuum line, made sure oil dip stick is secure & oil cap secure. I checked the ENG SEN fuse but it keeps blowing. What can cause the fuse to keep popping? & the SES light to comes on.

* Note - I purchase a new MAF sensor from Ebay. *

Welcome to my world.... I think I have a short in the circuit somewhere. 02's are also on the circuit, so check those. What vacuum hose did you replace?

O2 sensor? Oh Crap!! I don't have any O2 codes. One of my O2 wire harness is disconnected from the sensor but that wouldn't cause the fuse to blow.... would it???

I don't know which vacuum line. There was a break that was along the left back wall where a/c condenser or whatever a/c part it is.

I dont think it being unplugged would cause an issue, but it is probably worth plugging back in to see.

If the fuse keeps blowing, either the harness is shorted out somewhere or one of the components on this scematic is shorted and bad. So start by disconnecting these components and plugging them back in one at a time until the fuse blows. If the fuse blows with them all unplugged then you'll have fun figuring out where in the harness its screwed up. Here's a picture to help, best of luck.

There's a Stop Lamp Switch in the circuit... is that the same switch that turns on the lights? or totally different? If diff, where is that located?

I'm sure its on the pedal, but its not going to be the part of the switch that controls the lights. You're car will only have it if its an automatic, so it likely controls the shift interlock or something.

So I systematically unplug each O2 sensor, MAF & Stop lamp switch... the fuse still continues to blow. I haven't replace the PCV valve yet but that wouldn't cause the fuse to blow... would it?

Man! How the heck can anyone locate a short in the harness??

I'm in Atlanta and can't pass emissions to renew my tag. SuX!
Is there anyway to trick the PCM or anything else to get the SES light to go off. Or if you anybody to help me pass in the area. PM me.
