New Build Issue possibly Tuning?
05 TJ - 07 5.3 from a Silverado Stock Bore
Brian Toooley Stage 4 Cam
Headers, Sheet metal Intake and 94.mm TB
The PCM was ordered Warrior Performance from an 04 Suburban. VAT deleted.
I have driven the jeep and it ran great but just a little rich. Now this was with the factory intake and TB. After I installed the aftermarket Intake that's when my fuel issues started. I changed the oil yesterday due to fuel in oil pan.
My question is could the PCM with factory tune be sending that much fuel? I plan on getting a tuner, but it should atleast start up? The injectors are new. It is dumping so much fuel that is hydrolocks.
Please advice if this would be better in the engine threads?
Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the help. Guys on here are great!
You said new injectors but never said which ones. If you bought larger injectors, without a tune, they will DUMP fuel.
Short answer- stop running it until you get it tuned
As for your fuel issue at idle, it probably does just need a tune. I still get creamy mocha looking stuff out of my vacuum pump puke tank, and I’m not all that rich on most days. I might actually go down in injector size since I have duty cycle to spare and a good fuel pump. Idle is where you can only go so low with them.
Also keep in mind “false lean” which is caused by overlap. You’ll get extra oxygen in the pipe because of overlap (at low RPM) therefore causing richer numbers because the O2’s assume it’s lean and dump extra fuel that’s completely unnecessary. A stage 4 like you mentioned can easily be satisfied with a 15-16:1 idle AFR. That’s actually about what it should be when you have a ton of overlap.
