Default DBW pedal not operating

Ran a GM Plug-n-play harness/ecu (E67)/pedal on an LS swap. After tune, it worked flawlessly. Ended up swapping out the harness and ECU for esthetic reasons and concealment. The ECU I used is a E38, coupled with the corresponding harness. Got everything placed and connected. Went to fire the vehicle. Starts/idles with no issue. Immediately got a P2138 code. Dead accelerator pedal.

Retraced all of my wires and made sure that everything was routed correctly. Upon ignition, I verified that the throttle blade "activated" and what-not. Throttle body is a NW 6-pin 102mm. Removed it to rule out that it wasn't faulty. Installed a cheap Amazon 6-pin tb. TB actuated upon ignition and starts the vehicle and idles ok. No accelerator pedal actuation with it, either. I disconnected the battery a few times to "reset" the ECU, to no avail.

What should I look for to resolve the issue? Are all DBW pedals the same? Could it be a tuning/ECU setting issue? What could I be missing?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Are you using the E67 pedal with the E38 ,or pedal that came with the E38?

I am using the pedal that originally came with the GM Plug-n-play kit, for the E67 ecm. Are the pedals interchangeable?

Would it be too much trouble to reinstall the E67 to see if the pedal still functions with that ECU?

I don't have the E67 ECM right in front of me, but are the harness connections the same on the E38 and E67? I know the E67 has three big connections on it, while the E38 has only two. My new harness is specifically for the E38, two connector type.

Generally not interchangeable. You need a matching pedal on the E38 depending on what it is from. I.e. C6, G8/SS, Camaro.

See post #2 on this thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...tle-pedal.html

It documents that different pedals have different output voltage sweeps and that the wrong voltage sweep will give the exact code you are getting.
In short you need the correct pedal for your ECM.

Thanks, guys. I attempted to order a 2005-2013 Corvette acc pedal. There were only 6 in the country now, due to a GM national back-order. Called nine different dealerships. Found one in Texas. Hopefully it will work as intended. I shall keep you posted.

I was at the track earlier this year and a guy had a similar issue with a LS swapped 2nd gen. Turns out the pedal was bad. Replaced the pedal and problem was fixed.
