Accel Gen 7 vs F.A.S.T vs BIGSTUFF3

Not really a support forum anywhere. Your dealer should be able to answer all your questions.
Any killer deals if you buy 2? Or is the price "fixed" by BS3?

There is no time limit when you buy a system, we will work with you until you are comfortable with your purchase. The system is a killer deal at list price! We do not have a multi box price. BS3 does have a jobber price thats very reasonable.

Got my car running with it - have not done any tuning yet as the motor came right back out for some paint work and the cage.
Overall I was pretty pleased with how easy it is to install and use though.

i gotta give my .2 in this.
I've never had any expirence with bs3 or Fast, and my Accel is working perfect and i'm really satisfied customer. But from what i hear Fast is just a Gen6 windows based system, if thats the case from the opinions i hear here, this is my ratings for turbo set ups.
1 BS3
2 Accel
3 Fast
I'm not going to say how much i paid for my brand new accel but lets just say i can afford to buy Accel7+ and i still got money left over for TH400.

BRINGING THIS BACK
I will be looking into a aftermaket ECU sometime around tax time and since this post is around 4 years old I wanted to know if the BS3 is pretty much the **** still and where I can get it at a good price??
I already have a TCI tranny control box that controls my Paddle shifter and my 4L80E so I would not really have to have the 4L80E option (wouldn't hurt to have it either though)
I am an LTX setup right now but future plans could call for an LSX or SBC setup. Could I still use my ECU for these other motors? (I figure I would have to change a few things with the ECM controls naturally)
Another reason I want a aftermarket ECU is I wouldn't mind to learn how to do some tuning, I have a lot of love for this hobby so learning wouldn't be a pain for me.
Any help is appreciated and welcomed.

Wheel "decode" 60-2 (58x)
First, the most important item is HOW the position of the crankshaft is measured.
What system will do this best ?
What system takes FULL avantage of ALL 60 teeth INCLUDING "tooth acceleration" ?
What system will provide eight (8) separate ignition channels AND eight (8) separate fuel channels, ALL with independent control.
What is the processor speed, MIPS, bits ?
Look for this information, forget about the "bells & whistles"
until the foundation is in place.

I am wondering the same thing, specifically, how does BS3 compare to the FAST XFI system? I am builing a 454 LSX and based from the earlier posts in this thread BS3 sounds like the way to go, but the FAST XFI looks good as well. thoughts, experiences?

I've used all three and currently run the Gen 7 on my Buick and have been a BIG fan. Up till now I would've said the BS3 seems to have the best ignition control especially if running a COP setup like the LSx does and would be the best choice for a car this ignition setup. I was searching this forum to find out if anyone here is running the new Accel ICM which is going to be upgradable to the new Gen 8 system this fall? The new ICM has all your ignition controls, ign box, and 64 channel datalogger all in one and when they add the fuel control it'll pretty much be 3 boxes in one package. Considering the Gen 7 is 10 year old technology and is still comparable (IMO even better in some respects)to the current BS3 and XFI I would think the new Gen 8 should be pretty exciting especially for the LSX guys running COP.
BTW I do know the new ICM does all of the above mentioned!

I've got Gen7 in my truck right now. It's great other than the fact that the truck only starts about every other day. Still waiting to find out if the ignition box is the problem and if it's going to be replaced at no cost to me. Was replaced once already shortly after install.
