Default hp tuners question

well i have one more question me and a friend are going to share hp tuners we have 2 99 camaros and were kinda in a debate in wether or not to get the wideband 02 for it currently we are both long tube headers with a y pipe only would it be ok to put a bung toward the end of the y pipe to put wideband also would this read correctly their and would it be much trouble to switch back and fourth between cars (feel me in on the install of a wideband)
thanks

Just an FYI, you still need another model year. The (2) 99's count as one model year. I was considering getting the EIO but, did not think I would use it very much. I have a dyno rather close and would rahter use them. If you do not have a dyno in your area, the Wideband would not be a bad idea. The cost would be $150 for the EIO cable and the cost of the wideband kit.

with the cost of the lc1 between 185-199 i think its a great idea to go ahead up get the enhanced version I like them located as far foward as possible as to avoid as many exhaust leaks as possible.

You will be happy with the EIO option. The "pigtail" is the connector and wires that plug into your EIO connector. It is a connector with about 6" of wire sticking out for each connection.
