Default XD-1/LC-1 arrived the other day

Pretty nice stuff, the XD-1 is a cool little gauge and the LC-1 is exactly what I was looking for with the black box flashscan logger. You can program the range and color of the LEDs on the 'sweep' part of the gauge from your PC along with min/max hold, the LC-1 wideband has two analog outputs for logging/ECU control and drives the XD-1 gauge through a serial connection.

If you have an LM-1 the gauge would be a cool little add on as well and can control the LM-1 remotely.

The LC1 at ~200.00 is a very good deal IMO if you dont need a display, the gauge is a little pricey but I needed something to fill the 3rd hole in the dash

Tried to take a pic of it with the giant widebang gauge I made in EFILive 7 and the gauge on the dash but its hard to keep the camera steady with no flash.

3 weeks (came from california so that was 4 days), if you need one quick its kinda rough right now I guess. I doubt you will find an LC-1 anywhere in stock anymore but I have seen a couple XD1/LC1 combos pop on eBay. Its a hot item right now from what I am reading..

I have an LC-1 on backorder until at least 15 May, and I ordered it almost two weeks ago. I'm extremely jealous...

I would guess they held back some LC1s for the XD1/LC1 combos, thats why I got it. I usually dont say this about products and its easy to say because I already have one but the LC-1 one is a heck of a deal and if you dont need it right away its worth waiting for.

I dont think you will find anything for the money thats better, I was going to use the LC1 for logging and program the LC1 to use a cheap autometer a/f gauge for the in car display but the programmable color LEDs from the XD1 got me

Interesting...I certainly don't need it right away, but my impatience is getting the best of me...

So are you leaving it hooked up full time? Where does it draw it's power source? I wouldn't mind having one hooked up full time to the XD-1, along with a quick analog out for my HPT.

It will be in the car full time, I took the power from the TCS switch for both the LC-1 and XD-1. Its just laying on the floor in the pic but it will be permanently mounted soon.

Bought it right from innovate's web site as soon as I seen it, I have seen a few pop on eBay here and there but I dont think you will find one for a couple weeks. APE had a GP on the LC-1 so I'm sure they can get one and any sponsor that sells the LM1 should be able to get one ordered also.

How did you mount the A/F gauge? Is it a 2 5/8??? I've alwyas wanted to get an A/F guage and mount it in the vent, but they all come too small...

It's a 2-1/8" gauge judging from the pic.

Looks like a nice setup KP.

The gauge is the smaller 52mm (2 1/16"), I just cut a small piece of ABS plastic to fit in the vent hole and mounted the gauge to that, then used a little strip of metal with the thumbscrews on the back to hold it in. The WB gauge has two long studs on it and is only like 3/4" think. Kind of hard to explain, I'll take a pic tomorrow.

I ended up running the O2 sensor wire through the old A4 shifter cable hole and put the LC-1 is inside the console, they say its OK to mount it outside Its pretty well sealed) but I'd rather have the controller in the car.

Can you explain where you sent the LC-1 cable through the A4 shifter cable hole. Would a person have to modify anything to get it through?

Just trying to figure out how I want to get this cable into my car!

I just ordered an LC-1 yesterday I was going to try one of those DIY's but for 200 bucks I don't think I would have saved any money and it would have been huge.

The web sight said they will have more in on the 5th?

so long as the heater is turned on when the O2 is in the car and the car is running, they should last for a decent amount of time... mine fouled out after about 2000 miles, but I didn't realize I needed the heater on for them to stay alive
