Default RAF spreadsheet ver 1.2 (bugfix update)

For all the people that have used my spreadsheet, I found a critical typo in there, please go to http://redhardsupra.blogspot.com/ to get a set of spreadsheets for it.

Please report if you find any more problems.
Thanks,
Marcin

Marcin, on the blogspot, under injectors I seen you had used 34.6 for both SVO 30's and 42's, I am sure thats a minor typo. I had read and re-read the whole blog again, and very informative. Thanks for taking the time to help out the community like this.

Marcin,

Can't seem to get the values from my scan to paste in the four columns. Help!

Didn't have the problem on your previous version.

excel is picky how you copy non-contiguous ares, so here's a simple solution:
in your 'display table' in hpt, set up the 4 things you need to later become columns right next to each other, making it easy to highlight, and make excel not complain. also makes it easy to paste into my spreadsheet.

try it, if it doesn't work, we'll take a look at it some more. i've been just really busy lately, so i haven't had much time to reply to emails in depth that i'd like.

You guys with HPT 2.0, why not make a cal pid and use the histograms?? That is the point of them isn't it?

The whole purpose of Histograms/MAPs is to get rid of spreadsheets like this one. If the program can do it, why have a spreadsheet?? Makes no sense to me. Since I have been able to do custom MAPs now for months, I haven't opened excel for anything.

yeah the custom histos are already included with the 2.0 download...you really dont have to do any work other then setup the filters if you want any...very simple.

Marcin, was looking at your speadsheet and seems like you are doing the calculations for the temps incorrectly. What I mean is that you are counting all values say between 133F to 153F as all in the 133F column. I dont believe it works like this. For example you have 111F 133F 154F. Now when you get a reading at 120F the value is being read from your 111F RAF value. At 123F its not actually reading from your 133F value. You can see this even if you were looking at it via the histogram.

So your where your doing the sum of all values on your table that are greater and equal to 133F and less than 154F for all values under the 133F column is slightly incorrect. You should be doing more like 123 through 143 for all values under 133F.

This is the way I understood it worked, if Im horribly wrong, put me in my place.

He should be counting the middle. Eg

400 800 1200 1600 2000

should be counted 0-600 601-1000 1001-1400 1401-1800 1801-2200

If he isnt doing it this way then yes his spreadsheet is wrong.

Yea thats what I was saying, according to the formula he is doing >= 133 to <154 for example. I think it needs to be >=123 to <= 143 for the 133F calculations and so one for the rest of the ECT values.

Well to be fair I was testing it for awhile and never noticed it because didnt really take a look at your calculations. I noticed it today cause I pasted in a block of data that has temps to 150 and noticed that it only had calcuations to 133F.

I stopped using your spreadhsheet awhile back because I just could not get this flipping car to get the RAF table right and just this morning found out with a cam like mine, I think its highly recommended that everyone turns the spark idle control button ON (for HPT 2.0) that way the spark over and underspeed is not fluctuating like crazy and causing the STIT to also fluctuate and never give me consistent reading.

you know, there's a reason why i don't lock or hide formulas in the spreadsheets, you can change it/fix it yourself, if you think you know better. afterall this just needs a -20C shift everywhere, it's pretty trivial.
let me go get my cheerios damn it, not read ls1tech, and i'll fix it...
