Default FYI: !TM fixes converter solenoid problems

i got some tuning done and got my torque management deleted ('01 car). I have yet to have that shift solenoid stuck problem and my 4th gear seems to always lock up around town now too...even with the weather being extremely cold.

just thought you guys would like to hear that there might be a way around this trouble code. boy am i happy though!

How do you get rid of TM without deleting Traction Control. Looks like it's the same table.

There must be a way. MTI used LS1 edit to tune my PCM and they ditched TM without removing TC. I don’t think they actually remove TM, they just reduce it to 0.

In Engine Cal there is a Max Torque setting that GM sets at 350.

Put it somewhere above your Max Torque and 'Presto', you're there.

if you have no torque management how much does this hurt your transmission, i want to take this off on my truck but dont know how bad it is for a stock tranny

Black LS1 T/A, already did that! I guess I'm done then.

Got a Yank 3000 going in soon, we'll see how it does.

on a stock trans it might put alittle wear on the trans but it should be ok. If its not modded i wouldnt even bother removing it. When you get into high hp you can feel it like 2-300 rpms before it shifts. Atleast mine anyway. that and the shift are nvr the same shift feel. Some times my shifts really hard other time u can barly feel it.
