Default How am i supposed to clean

The MAF when the screen is in the way where i really need to clean(Facing the filter and oncoming airflow)?

4 screws and the ends come off the center section.
edit - nevermind. I see you have a truck. not sure how those come apart.

I'd say just hose it good, through the screen, and
let it drip. Some of those little channels are right
over the sense elements. I would not use any
mechanical implement, just the electrical cleaner.
Be sure you use a "dries clean" one, not one that
says it lubricates. Spray it until the runoff dries
clear on a piece of white paper. The first runoff
bit should be "interesting".

The oil on Kn air filters is a major cause in alot of dirty maf sensors. Usually a test of pulling the maf off and see if the problem went away is a good way to check.

Trans values dont change unless something is wrong with a sensor or the pcm.

WEll i pulled it off and it looks silver and clean.So i guess no need to clean.
