Default Will closed loop command this?

I have most of my NON PE section of the VE table set to 14.7 but a portion set to 13.5AFR. When I go back to closed loop will the compter be able to maintain the 13.5 or is it too far off from the 14.7 to keep it there? And i'm using my PE table to command 12.5 so thats why I can't use it to get my 13.5. Thanks guys.

The only way for you to do that would be to be in open loop and use the open loop table, or use efilive custom operating system 3 and it will give you a full resolution fuel table that will use strims and will command what ever you put in the table cells.

Well I have hptuners. I have my OLFA table set like this 20-55kpa is 14.7AFR, 60-75kpa is 13.5AFR, and 80-100 is 12.5 AFR. I want to use the PE table to get my 12.5 but want to use my trims to get the 13.5. Will hptuners let me do this?

Basically no. When the pcm is in closed loop it has a setting for what it is commanding. which is only one value. 14.62973 ect.. So, anytime it is in closed loop that is what it wants. If the pcm enters a pe mode, or a open loop mode, then the values can be changed to what is commanded, It is not using o2 feedback at this time so it uses a calculation to get it to what it thinks it should be.

Yes you can set closed loop mode temp way high so it never goes in, but unless your ve is dialed in right and your maf (if connected also dialed in) you arnt going to be commanding anything useful.

You can also only use ect vs map and not rpm vs map. Plus the usual PE mode.

You are better off with a custom OS to do all this else you wont get exactly what you want. You will also definately want a wideband installed.

Yeah...I've been through most options, and just got tired of the problems with my O2 sensors. As of this morning, they are completely gone and the holes are plugged.

Yep...then tuning it that way

I really like it...I actually just took my narrow band O2s off my car completely and used plugs in the holes...talk about weight reduction

I do not even use the OLFA table. I am running EFILive Custom OS 3. I do not use the PE table either. I have one table. It is the old OLFA but RPM/MAP and I just set the AFR in each cell to what I want. Check out this doc:
