For a limited time, send AMS your 97-02 PCM...and we will do any basic tuning that you need, and overnight it back to you...for $250. This includes the following :
Delete Torque Management
Modify shiftpoints
Change gear ratios/tire sizes
adjust settings for improved idle w/cammed cars.
modify KS settings
modify timing, ect.
Basicly, any changes you want done short of A/F..which is recommended only with wideband tuning.
Why buy a HyperTech when you can get something custom to your car, at a Cheaper Price!!! If you have any more questions, fell free to call!

If I was to get your tuning, then at a later date get some dyno A/F tuning done by someone local, can the local guy overwrite or add to your tuning?
Not doing the cam install until after the holidays, how long is this special good for?

Its not locked like Ed Wright's PCM's. I can setup the PCM really nice for a cam....correct the idle and driveabilty. All you would really need to do is tweak the WOT A/F.

I've got a Maft so I'm hoping I can tweak the WOT a/f with that & possibly eliminate the dyno tuning altogether. A few more ?'s;
#1 Would that price include things like eliminating missfire detection & changing missfire temps to prevent converter unlocking issues, changing trans pressure to read off tps, & other A4 changes?
#2 What would future upgrades cost if needed?

Chris @ AMS, I have a 01 ws6, and I have been reading a lot of post about torque management. It is said that when I change my torque converter I will have problems with torque management. When you delete TM will it cause some other problem, that is specific to the 01 and 02? I am thinking of getting your basic tuning.

Sorry about getting back to the questions......Holidays and all!
Aftica....I can do all the changes you requested...no prob. If you need something else adjusted at a later date, just ship it too me and I will handle it for ya. Im also running the special for awhile, to gauge the intrest.
Thunda...I can program out the TM no prob. Only problem you might have is increased tire spin on the shifts.....but I am sure you won't mind

We are currently running a special of $399 for complete dynotuning. That includes everythign from drivabilty, to WOT numbers with a wideband. I was only running it to the end of the year, but I think I will extend the special for awhile. Let me know if you want to setup a time!

Chris, exactly what do you need to get my tuning right? I currently have a TR224 with stock heads, and have been dynotuned. I am switching to an F1 cam with LS6 heads. Is that enough info, and can you improve on the tuning that was done previously? That is one hell of a deal, especially coming from one of the best tuners in the country!

Its just impossible to get A/F right without being there. If you dyno, then get me a a/f printout from the session....I can then go back and readjust. Hope this helps!!
