P131 - HO2S Keeps comming back!
I keep getting this error:
131 - HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1
What I have:
2001 WS6 Trans Am 6sp:
Air Filter/Lid
QTP Headers
2.5" Dual exhaust. High Flow Cats. X-Pipe.
Bosch 13111 o2 sensors (Brand Fracking New)
6sp upgraded w/ Kevlar & Forged Steel components
SPEC stage 3 clutch.
Computer Tune to remove rear o2s as well as emissions, cags, etc. PCM Tune Download
Here is a photo of Where the o2s are placed.
This error keeps comming back. before I switched to the Bosch 13111s, it was like every 15 miles (If I Reset it)
After I switched, it was more like every 250 miles.
Its bugg'in me becuase I don't like seeing that SES light, and I can feel the power drop when it pops on. So far, its come back on (after swaping to the Bosch 13111s) while full throttle in 3rd... but that could just be ko-winkie-dink
Any Sugguestions?

He's suggesting to eliminate the code, not turn the o2 off however.
An alternate solution I always suggest are aftermarket o2's with a higher wattage o2 heater found on the after cat o2 sensors on c5 corvettes. Bosch 13111's are the part number. I have been running mine for two years since the first people experminted with these o2's and i've never had a code pop up. These o2's also eliminate the need for o2 extensions, often found at fault when o2 related problems arise.

I already have the 13111s installed.
How do I elimate the code, without turning off the o2, and not have the computer dumb itself down again if that error comes back up again?

You can change the code to no error reported but the o2's will still function.

sorry for my question here, but I just need to be clear:
With no error reported:
The o2s will still work as normal, but the PCM won't ever think there is anything out of range on them?

Reading the HELP in the VCM Editor:
"This tab controls the setting of the MIL and SES lamps and the reporting of the various DTC codes (Pxxx). Note: It does not disable the actual tests. eg. disabling the MAF DTC's will not affect the behavior of the engine if the MAF fails. ie. it will still revert to backup mode, set maximum knock learn etc."
So, does this mean that no matter what I do, the car will still go into the "back up mode"? Is there any way for me to disable the backup or limp home mode? I just want this thing to not dumb itself down everytime the sensor freaks out.
