Default OLMA= Trims maxed positive

I'm currently running open loop with the MAF. My trims are maxed out positive. Is this right? The car runs fine with the exception of an idle problem that I'll deal with at a later date. The bests in my sig were actually achieved in this condition a few weeks ago in 80+ degree weather. I'm probably just being paranoid, but I figured I put it out there anyway.

Your trims shouldn't have any bearing when in open loop as they aren't used.

Thanks! I'm still learning, real paranoid and need constant reassurance that I'm not going to blow something up! I should probably be medicated! LOL!

Well if the trims were never reset after the last flash, then they could be active in open loop if they are positive. When running an open loop tune with (or without) the MAF, you should have turned off LTFT's and increased the Closed Loop Temp Enable to 283*F.

I agree.
Clear your fuel trims.
If you are really running in OL then you shouldn't get/show any fuel trims at all.

I'll check it out. Thanks guys! Just 1 more quick question. Under closed loop enable in HP Tuners I think it's ECT vs. IAT. Should I change all of the cells to 283*?
