What is Transient fuel?

Default What is Transient fuel?

Not really sure what transient fuel is or does.

It's additional fuel being added when you go from idle, or cruise to acceleration. Kinda the electronic version of an accelerator pump, if you will.

Thanks! Lowering the transient fuel made a huge difference in my car!

Part Throttle accel and response is night and day. The car is alot more responsive. I got such a noticable difference because I 42# injectors and never lowered the transient fueling.

I have #42 too... can you show me what you´ve done.

If you have HP tuners go to engine-fuel-transient fuel- then in the upper left hand corner is a # I forget what it is called. It's transient something but It will be a .41. Lower it down to .31 and see how your car responds.

I thought transient fuel was fuel that was homeless and moved around a lot
