Default a good commaded fuel table for a blown 408

kPa is the columns and rpms being the rows...

what AFR should i command in certain cells? what kPa is considered high boost (20-100)

this is a 2bar COS for EFIlive ... i'm trying to get my commanded AFR sorted out.... then it will be time this weekend..

im using table B3647 for for you info.... right now i have 3200 x 70kpa 14.6
the rest is 12.5

what you think

Yeah...12.5 is a little lean for boosted apps. If you're MAP kPa is accurate, then you're not into boost until 100+kPa. I see 96~97kPa out of my bolt-ons Z28 at 800ft above sea level. Atmospheric pressure at sea level is supposed to be something like 101kPa. If you're skewing the numbers with the 2-bar so that 60kPa is really 120kPa, then you'll need more fuel sooner than 70kPa (which is 140kPa).

If it were me, I'd start richening up when you hit ~80kPa (14:1) and go .5 richer each 5kPa so you're at 12:1 by 100kPa. But, keep PE enabled with a good number (~11.8:1).

Yes, PE is used unless you disable it.

You set PE equal to stoich. The PCM should take the higher value of the open loop fueling table or PE table.

Set 100KPA to 11.8-1 and PE to 11.5-1.

Here is the fuel table I run with my turboed truck. I don't use PE. It works quite well.

my PE MAP threshold is 150kpa..... so does that mean PE wont turn on until it sees 150kpa?

the truck guys table looks exactically like mine... should i just copy and past his?

also when this is used... if its anything above 100 kpa does it use the same same data... say i hit 115 kpa @ 35k rpms will it check what 100 kpa @ 3500 rpms is and use it?

thanks,

Tyler

Yes, it will command what ever the value is in the 100kPa cell for that rpm no mater how high above 100kPa you go.

so then really PE is not needed and almost out dated.... i would rather it be controlled by MAP only than by TPS%.... that could cause quick dips in the AFR that your trying to smooth.... i like that much better... what parameters or cells did you use in your COS to turn PE off... your COS looks like mine

You turn PE off by setting the enablers above operating conditions or by settting it's values leaner than the open loop fueling values. The PCM should take the richer of the two.

I just set all the cells in the PE table to 14.63. It will use the richer of the 2 tables for fueling.
