16.0 a/f ratio!! HELP!
i hav a 00 T/A, and we did a engine swap with an 02 Z28, the motor has a .595/.595 237/242 112, and we swapped the harnesses from the plug in the pass floor board, but we kept the same computers since his hadnt been tuned and i hav hptuner locked to mine, i got the engine from throttle body to k-member, and from what ive been told it should be running extremely rich right now, problem is my long term fuel trims were running like positive 50.0, yea 50 not 5.0, my tune is almost stock other than some throttle cracker/follower and timing and the power enrich table, i hooked up a a/f meter and it was reading 16.0 like immediately, we tested another car the gauge is working correct, ive already had to replace the plugs b/c they were fuel soaked, and ive only put maybe 30 miles on it, i hav the stock 02 injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump, im just curious if n e body can tell me what the hells goin on with my car!
i appreciate any help u can give me!
thanks,
mike

Does the AFR stay 16:1 at idle after warming up? Does the PCM go into Closed Loop? If so, what is the injector pulsewidth and duty cycle like.
increase the VE table for crank up and NON CL operation so the AFR will come down. check your Injector flow rate table, check you MAF table. increase it. check your OL fueling table(commanded fuel while in OL)... check all those tables, as if you are running that stock tune... and that cam ain't exactly a mild cam....and the car would run lean from it. But i don't see why the car wouldn't go into CL operation and try and maintain a ~14.6AFR.
also, your fuel pressure should be more around 60 or so(if you bought the 255 racetronix PnP kit with wiring harness and hooked it up right).... so when you calculate your IFR table, you may want to take that into effect, I have an excel sheet that can help you out with that table. Check your fuel filter if it hasn't been changed in a while...idk what else to tell ya.
if you were in charlotte, nc I would be at ur house now tryin to help ya... lol
thanks, mike
