O2 Sim is just a diode?
O2 Sim is just a diode? Read an interesting post from 2006,where a guy said to put a particular diode in line with wires from O2 sensor to fool PCM, leaving the heater circuit intact.So the sim disconnects the heater also but must just be a diode or resistor,right ?
Not that simple
The O2 Sim uses a 555 timer with 4 resistors, 2 capacitors and 2 LED's. With parts from Radio Shack, they are ~$15 to make. A far cry from $50 each. A friend of mine made them for his Supra and they work like a champ.
