Default Predator, Torque Managment

First off the car is a 2001 SS.
Is there a way to confirm that torque managment is off. I turned it off through my predator programmer but I havent noticed any difference in power. From a roll in first gear (clutch fully engaged) I can floor it and it still wont spin the tires. It seems to hesitate down low... clutch doesnt slip, and it seems to make plenty of power up top (had it up to 160 and it was still pulling hard).

Also, even when my traction control is off when the rpms get above ~5000 a WOT it feels as if the traction control is pushing the pedal back up at my foot. I do my best to keep it to the floor, but it noticably pushes back... please help!!

Sounds like something else is going on here.
If the TM is off, and the car will not spin the tires, is the T/C turned off?
TM will not add any power, but eliminates the PCM from killing torque output.
Did you disable all 3 TM parameters in the Predator?
I cannot imagine anything that would cause the throttle pedal to feel like it is pushing back up.

You should have noticed a difference... I want to get it done to my car but IDK what the outcome would be like for an automatic.

Isn't torque management only used for Automatics?

M6es have all the trans TM dummied out from the
factory.

ASR pushes back on the pedal and before that it
will apply spark retard trying to cut wheelspin.
There is a switch on the center dash, which you
might enjoy pressing occasionally.

Low-RPM hesistation may be a tune problem, have
a look at the Pred real time knock retard number
and see if the car really likes the excess timing that
"install performance" wants to push down it. Too
much and you'll get heavy KR for a net loss.

my traction control is off, thats ALWAYS the first thing I do after starting the car. The predator was picking up slight knock retard (~1-2%) at lower RPMs @ about 30% engine load, but I never checked it at full throttle.

The predator does let me change the three torque managment settings to the off position. (even for a manual)

also, when at WOT above 5000 rpm, it feels like the ASR is kicking in (pedal pushing back up)

the only other thing I changed on the tune was the fan on/off temps, could this effect anything... (Fan1 on 199, Fan1 off 192; Fan2 on 207, fan2 off 200)

If you have no button, you very likely have no ASR. Another way to determine this is to look at the inside passenger side fender well. If your throttle runs to a black cylinder, then snakes it's way back to the TB, then you could have ASR. If it runs straight from the firewall to the TB, you don't have the components for ASR.

For those with ASR, is there an easy way to bypass the "black cylinder" and go straight to the TB. That is the only thing that can physically push the pedal back up, I just dont understand why it does it at high rpm (even at high rpm in higher gears when there is very little chance that the tires are spinning)

I think you could get the non-ASR TB-pedal and
TB-cruise cables and bypass it while not seeing
the dash light. If you pull the fuse or the fenderwell
connector it will fault on startup check and light
the light. Beware though of defeating the motor
and leaving the ASR active, because when the
throttle relax wants to kick and fails, next comes
aggressive ABS brake apply which you won't like at
all.

Pull the fuse and get out the electrical tape?
