BS3 or Electromotive............................
Before I buy, which one is better and why? (that rhymed)
For this:
LSX iron blocked 454ci
sheet metal
ETP CV heads (yes, I decided to go with these bad boys
)Cam: I'm sick of worrying about it, my builder and Cary can figure it out for me)
300 progressive DP shot
4L80E
1 7/8" stepped to 2" LT's
(thats probably all ya need to know about the set-up)
Also, and this may be a newb question. But do these two systems take the place of the PCM or do I keep the PCM to run everything else in the car? I already know I need to upgrade to a '99 or newer PCM, but since I'm using one of these, whats the deal?
.
I am going the BS3 route because there seems to be more people running it, which means there are more people to help my stupid *** tune it.
Still researching and learning about them. I need someone in Florida that can do my tune after my engine goes in, with the BS3. Or I'll fly someone from wherever they are here to tune it.

Not true; The stock PCM needs to kept for dash cluster and other control bits...
DFI?
Yeah, BS3 is what I'm gonna go with, and a '99+ PCM.
