Reverse lockout wire up?

Reverse lockout wire up?
I recently converted to a M6 in a 98 T/A. Instead of having a tech 2 re-flash the PCM I just copied the differences to my existing PCM tune. Anyone know of a pin that will provide a ground for the reverse lockout solenoid? I wired it in to pin 61 I believe and with the A4 tune this is not doing anything.

I just checked the HP Tuners repository. There are several M6 tunes there. If you have HPT, download one and copy the tranny section to your tune and make sure the lockout is wired correctly. It should work then.

That is what I did. Without doing a write entire the PCM still operates as if it were an A4. I have been advised by the HP staff not to write entire any of these files to a 98 PCM. The 98's are prone to destruction. All ineed is a pin that prvides a ground below _ mph,or when __ is present. Anything that will correspond with reverse lockout.

I don't think such a pin exists on a A4... You will have to either do an entire write or live without it. Maybe you could wire it up to a switch so you have to press a button to shift into reverse.
