Default re-tune @ another shop??

can another shop re-tune ur car?? if so will they charge you for a retune or a new tune?? thanx

yes they can retune, (as long as the first shop didn't lock the pcm) but you will normally pay for a tune, not a retune, since the "return" discount is normally a customer loyalty discount from the shop you went to originally, not because they have less work to do.

And, alot of times its not less work, its MORE work, because of having to go in a fix crap the first tuner screwed up.

That is why I like software that starts with correct OEM stock files, not the file in the vehicle

If I get a car with another tune in it, I will upload a stock tune and start over instead of trying to figure out every parameter that has been changed...

Bad tune? Or was it the tq conv? What shop? Was it 409?

Was that Cobra that got you off the line stock?

nothing wrong with the tune.. car runs good i just wanted to take it somewhere more reputable when i have my injectors tuned in.. and yeah the cobra was stock.. my car had street tires on it and just spun.. i got him up top tho.
