*Without talking about performance gain, what do you guys think of this exhaust tip?
I was looking at this but I'm open to anything under $80.

Thanks.
I have a 94 3.4L by the way.

A exhaust tip is not going to change the sound of your car , There are some that say they will but whats the point>? If you want it just save up for a full cat back and get a gain out of it

Ok well I'm not worried that much about power, its a 3.4L. I hate the look of the stock exhaust tip. So my question I guess would be what would look the best for my Firebird.

not worrying about performance gain with exhaust tips? unless they are .5" big they dont have anything at all to do with performance.
search corsa tips. you can get a pair for $80 on ebay. birds need dual/duals or dual ovals.

Pypes ovals look a lot like GMMG tips and a lot of people absolutley love those...My gmmg didnt come with tips, but I got some Corsa clones on ebay for $105 shipped. That was the buy it now option cause I wanted them fast, but if you bid and get lucky you can get them for $80-$95. I am not sure what I used to search for them...I dont think typing Corsa clones will bring them up...it was like stainless steel exhaust tips and that was how I found them...I think.

Sorry guys I was out last night and I wasn't here to see all the new posts. Ha. But I don't have dual exhaust? I'm not very familiar with cars, so I'm not sure if that matters or not, but the left side is the only side with an exhaust showing, if you know what I'm saying. So I couldn't use those could I?

hmm i might side with cgroh89. get a cheap catback then. maybe jegs. that way you have dual tailpipes to attach tips to, since most cheap catbacks dont come with nice tips.
until you can save for that, you could saw part of that tip off and have a tipless look.

^ you could have a fake tip on passenger side for now. But in the cold it will be easy to tell. or buy the set and only put one on for now i guess.
or just saw it. many people dont have tips, no problems. looks fine on non t/a bumpers.

I did want to black out the tail lights, and I also wanted my rims black. I had heard that there was a way to spray paint them, and they can actually turn out ok and last for a good amount of time but I never looked it up. How do you go about blacking out your tail lights anyway? Expensive?

its under lighting faq and has nightshade in the name. i wouldnt paint the rims yourself, unless u want them black like a school bus. you'll have to get powdercoat or something. you can get a duplicolor caliper paint kit that looks good at autozone though. also, go to fourthcircledesigns.com to look at some vinyl that will add a nice touch.

If I can't do it myself, can I buy "kits" or something online for blacking tail lights out?
And also, with that exhaust tip, I'm getting it for Christmas(yay i feel like a kid) so do you guys think its going to look weird since my exhaust points down?
