Sorry to hear that. If it disappered silently into the night, the question I would ask is whether the car had been shown at any events in the months prior to the theft. Similarly, since it did not surface for 2 years, that rules out the local joyride angle. Someone acoss the border or overseas may be the recipient of your pride and joy.

^ This guy took it! Jaykay jaykay, lol!
That sucks! My 99 went missing one night, but we found it! 3 days later. 120 miles from home. In a vacant field. Stripped and burnt to a crisp
Theres always SOMEONE at my house. The ONE time we were ALL gone, to tke my brother to texas becuase he was moving. Suspicious right? And then the cops said that there was no sign of forced entry, some parts of the car were still there.
SO..... a month later, we find out my best friend had made copies of my keys, and stolen it, and sold it for $500 to a guy that sells the parts.
Whats worse than THAT, i had 2 payments to go before pay off.
So you could be worse off.

dude if my friend did some stuff like that to me, he isnt a friend. and i def would have went to town on his ***, he would have been in the hospital.... how did he make copies of your keys? i never let mine out of my sight no matter what, my mother had to practically pry them out of my hands a few years back just to take the car for a spin cause i was trying to talk her into pickin up a 02 SS, then i called her every 2 minutes to make sure my baby was ok

If this was a custom order, it could have been loaded on a closed truck somewhere along the way.
I doubt any detective worked that case seriously. With so little to go on and this having been more than 2 years ago, this is a cold dead file. The only solace you can take is that at least you have an excuse to go out and play with a new 2010 Z28.
