I did it a couple of weeks ago now, but just getting the time to post now. I did the heater hose mod and eliminated the skip ship. Then I took her down off of her winter jackstands and gave her a wash for the coming season.

Really wish it would stop snowing

I spent all of yesterday and a few hours today swapping out my steering column and ignition cylinder to fix the play in the tilt pins only to find out the column had even worse play than my current one... FML I purchased the column from a member on here who I specifically asked if it had this issue and that was the only reason I need to column and he told me no. I've messaged him about it but have not heard a response... I had plenty of other things to do to get my car ready for autocrossing later this month but after wasting all this time and still not fixed looks like im going to have to push it until summer now.

on a good note I did successfully relocate my battery in a taylor aluminum box to the spare tire location and I am pretty satisfied with that.

I'm right there with you, I just ground down my steering shaft for clearance with my long tubes and am in the middle of my battery relocation to prep for autocross this Saturday

I replaced the passenger side window motor with the extra one that came with the car. It works, but not very well. Guess that's better then not working at all; at least I can close the window all the way now.

I bought back my first Firebird! It's been sitting for a year so there are some squeaks and the fuel needs to be dumped. But I am now the owner of 2 birds!

It's not even funny how slow the V6 is compared to the LS1. Lol

I changed the throttle position sensor after work today. Car kept throwing a TPS low voltage output code and had a rough idle and harsh shifting. I cleared the code and so far so good.

Yeah. First weekend with 40's and some rain hopefully, then I'm sure it'll snow before it rains again....

I opened up a box with my new LS7 lifters in them. Also, the car is up on a lift getting a full length stainless 3.5" single exhaust from the downpipe past the axle. One V-band on the front, one before the axle.

I bought gold decals online for her (that will probably look terrible) and I realized that I need to replace the window motors with Dorman's ASAP.

Finally got the car out of the garage and cleaned up. Spent about 4 hours with the clay bar, wax, wheel polish, etc. etc.

It has new shoes. 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 C5 ZO6's.
