I installed this kit over the winter and really never got a chance to test it or mess with it. Noticed the problem I am having is that the turn signals flash normally, even the hazards do the same. The tail lights sequence like the kit is suppose to only when you hit the unlock and lock button on the key fob... I'm assuming I have everything connected correctly if they sequence right even though it's only when the lock/unlock button is pressed.

Could this be my flasher or something else? Also, I read somewhere there are two flashers? One under neath the dash and one behind the light switch off to the left. I'm wondering which one needs replaced if so, or both.

Has anyone else had this problem or maybe know what's going on?

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Double check the wiring as that's 100% wrong. Nothing should sequence when you lock or unlock using the fob.

Turn signal flasher is under the dash to the right of steering column. The other one that is under the dash to the left of the steering column is the hazard lights flasher. I installed a heavy duty signal flasher on my car to slow the flash rate down a little. My guess though would be somewhere in the wiring. If the signals flash normally, that would tell me that the flasher is working.

So I was looking at the webelectric site for our F-bodies taillights and they say this at the bottom:

Note: Sequential Turn Signals only work on cars with combination brake/turn signal lamps. They will not work on cars with separate turn signals or cars with amber lenses. This kit will not work with LED lamps, only standard incandescent lamps.

So to me it sounds like they wont work but yet they do? Maybe its just my reading so if someone could clarify that would be great!

I thought the same initially until I found that the Mustangs are copying Thunderbirds from the 60's and Chrysler Imperials. It's nothing new...

I checked the site and it had it for $89.95, sounds like a decent price, no one has a video of these on their cars?

See post #96 in this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...-lights-3.html

^ This same post has details on how to get the blink right/adjusted and also has before/after examples of the kit's performance with the necessary flasher mods.

Almost 4 years and still running strong.

Yep, that is exactly the look I was going for. I always look for little ways to make my Bird look like a horse!
