ok, I found the problem...when I did the "free fix". I installed the bolts backwards so the thread was sticking out almost as far as the stopper. so the problem was the arm got wedged between the stopper and the thread off the bolt...I've got the fixture out and am currently working getting the motor off so I can install brents 2nd gear

thanks guys....beware which way you guys re-install your bolts!!!

Can anyone tell me if its possible to get white white headlights without going HID's? I have LED bulbs in the DRL's and recently put HID's in the fog's and it looks great! Only now my headlamps look horrible in comparison.

Am I stuck with having to buy HID's for the headlamps to get a white look? Will those Sylvania XtraVision beams be any whiter?

I ran the Sylvania's I forgot which model though, I know it wasn't the ones that are like $40 those are way to yellowish.

Just pull the trigger on the HIDs, for the price on those Sylvania just spend an extra twenty bucks and you have HIDs that will match everything else..... you know you want to

I'm just a little weary about putting HID's in any other other than a projector. I really don't want to blind people or **** them off. If these LMC housings will NOT **** off other drivers with HID's then I am all for it.

If I got the LMC bulbs for the low beams which bulb is that? 9005 or 9006? Do I need that Heavy-Duty Harness if I run a higher watt bulb in there or if I use HID's?

I installed mine yesterday I literally stood in front of the car at different distances and angles and I was not blinded by them. Its 9006 for the lows.
If your using the 55 watts then maybe you should use relay-harness

If I do HID's I will use the 35 watts for sure. I am sure that 55 Watts in something thats not a projector will cause WAY too much glare.

I will most likely do HID's. I know they will look good and light up the road. My ONLY Concern with them is blinding other people. Some people might not care, but I don't want to **** other people off no matter how badass they might look. I am glad that it looks like the LMC housings will fix this.

If I use the 35 Watt HID's I will be fine and not need the relay harness correct? Also, I won't need that heavy duty harness shown on the LMC site correct?

So all I need to order is the low beam LMC housings (Will get high beams at a later date) and a 35W HID 9006 kit from DDM and everything will install just fine? Nothing else needed? Any splicing or cutting wires involved? Thanks SO much for your help!

If you don't want to cut and splice, all the harness/adapters are included with both kits.

Thanks Danny. My final question is about the Heavy duty harness listed on the LMC order page. Is that necessary if I get the 35W HID kit? Or only the 55W?

Thanks again for your help. Your setup looks GREAT BTW (In the electronics section)

Do you have any pics of your setup from the front? It looks great from the in car view, but I would love to see it from the outside.

Thanks!
