2000 Firehawk #0539 Rebuild
So a few weeks ago I went to an auction because I knew there was going to be a Trans Am going up for sale. I show up and I see the car
I wasn't expecting much since it is a towing auction in a bad neighborhood, but I didn't expect a roller. I looked closer and I saw it had some Firehawk stickers and I was like could this be a real Firehawk? After walk around it for few times I was like I should go I don't really want this car but I was like could be a real Firehawk so I put a post on Facebook on an F-Body group and ask for peoples opinion on what to do since I was already at the action. I got a ton of comments within minutes and people were making offers on a car I didn't even own yet. Well due to positive response from facebook I was like I have to have it. I had already looked on the door and saw it had the correct WU6 RPO code and it was in fact a real Firehawk! So it came up for auction and the only person I was bidding against was the local junkyard because honestly nobody knew what a Firehawk was. So I won the bid at a whopping $150!!!!
I was pretty happy with the price and aince I have had dinners around the same price as the car I thought I got a pretty sweet deal. So I got it towed home and stated thinking about what do with it? Sell it, keep it, part it out? Well someone from the Firehawk Owners website contacted me asking me information about so they could add to the site and it turns out my car wasn't listed but it happened to be a 2000 Firehawk #0539.
So I have finally decided that I am going to rebuild the car little by little and post all my progress here in this Thread. It needs a lot since the Engine, Trans, ECU, Hood and wheels are missing. So my first job is to find some wheels and hood and then find a wrecked 98-02 Z28 to get most of the parts I need to get this on the road again.
Hopefully I'll be able to get help from you guys because I have never done anything this big and I'm probably going to have a lot of questions. Well wish me luck with getting 2000 Firehawk #0539 on the road again.

The story that the auction gave me.
It was stolen and recovered. Someone stole the Firehawk and stripped it completely. They stole the engine, transmission, hood, wheels and ecu. They kind of put it back together just so it would roll and they just abandoned it somewhere. Police found it and impounded it and the owner didn't want it and I went and bought it.
