Picked this one up from a friend about a month ago. It's been a few years since I've had an fbody, so it's nice being back in one. This one is a '00 Formula WS6 6 speed. Good size cam, head work, 12 bolt, and bolt ons. Seems to be a good running car. Thinking about changing it up a little. Maybe get rid of the red bird on the front and do tint. Thought about having the roof and sail panel painted gloss black. Dunno, we'll see. Anyhow, here's the pics.
Need to post so I can get to the link in my sig to see how rare a '00 HT Formula WS6 M6 is..............
Out of the 151 2000 WS6 Formula M6s reported in CompNine's database, 61 were HTs, and 18 were Silver.
Assuming this car is legit, its a pretty rare bird.
Thanks man, yea, it is legit. Came with the window sticker and the door stickers are still there. Pretty cool I thought. 18 is the number I was told too. It's a high mileage car. About 100k more than I've ever had, shows 139k right now. So much fun though! Been driving it every day.
Thanks guys. I'm liking that it's a formula. I've had a T/A WS6, a T/A Firehawk, and a Z28. So this is a little different. Especially with the hard top. Much easier to clean with the non-raised spoiler too! Haha Here's a quick pic from lunch today.
6 speed Ram Air Formula. Very nice. The performance upgrades are good, but I would return it to stock look since it's a legit rare car.
I appreciate it! Eh, it can always be returned to stock. It may have low specific production numbers, but it almost has 140k miles. Might as well have fun with it. The 30k mile Firehawk and 40k mile WS6 were both worth more. Not doing anything that can't be undone though. Would like to get a set of street wheels for it though.
Here's mine not a Formula but its ls1/t56 swapped I kinda like having the base model I can do whatever to it and I'm not hurting the cars value. Your car is what I want lol but I'd have to keep it clean and OE but that's just me.
I appreciate it guys. Just swapped the ls6 intake for a local 102. Will be swapping injectors and getting a retune real soon. Having a lot of fun with the car. I agree with leaving it OE. But this car has been played with for a long time. If it was still cherry I would leave it that way. But it's far from that. Nothing has been done to take anything away though. It's a fun little car that has some cool production numbers to go with it. Still need to do some cleaning up under the hood too.
