That stinks man sorry to hear that, I have a spare headlight clover in black if you are in need. I bought a second one to shave the Pontiac bumps off of a while back and that projects finished.

Got the car back today, quick turn around! Pretty happy with how it turned out, paint matches really well.

Also had them fix the dent in the passenger quarter, and spray the spoiler where the clear was failing. Sail panel and side mirrors is really the only thing left paint wise.

Finally painted my coils and brackets. Painted the brackets the same gray as my intake, and the coils the same blue as my valve covers/brakes.

Before:

Replaced my fading Ram Air decals with some new ones

Also, did the wire mod and TCS relocation. It was not bad at all, just took my time and it went off smoothly. Amazing how much it cleans up the engine bay, but I'll have to touch up some of the areas where the paint rubbed off. Used some zip-tie hangers to hold the wires up.

Finished up the day with a wash and wax with some Collinite 845!

wire tuck for the win!

now put the battery in the trunk and hide the fuse panels down behind the DRLS.

jokes aside I like the silver/grey color ive been thinking of painting the block for my 71 that color.

Lol it's a great color. Shame it's in the shade most of the time because it has a nice metallic to it. I say go for it!

Took a swing at fixing my passenger door panel crack today. It's by no means perfect but It's definitely better than it was. Proved to be more difficult than I expected with only one pair of hands. The tab on the door panel directly to the left of the crack had broken off, which is the reason for that side sticking out more than it should.

Headliner is next on the list of things to do.

Not a bad idea at all.

DS window motor crapped out on me today. Maybe the 4th time I've changed it on that side. Good thing autozone has lifetime warranty for the small price of having to deal with their employees.

Also swapped a few more LEDs in the map light and door handles. Havent had working door handle lights in years, so it's a welcome change.

mine were just starting to get stress marks when I wrapped them. My dash is still OE but the door panels are wrapped, it blends very well.

I'm sure it gives it a little more of a premium feel as well

its very subtle (depending on material choice of course) but yes it does curb that cheap plastic feel of GM's interior from that era

Don't think I've seen this happen before, my brass headlight gear stripped. Think I've had this in for a little over 2 years, maybe 20k miles.

I tried to flipping the gear, but probably close to 5/8ths of the gear was chewed up.

Luckily the ebay seller I originally bought it from was quick to remedy the situation and send me another one at no cost. I suppose we'll see if it happens again.

Got the new headlight gear in, everythings working fine. When I pulled out the chewed up gear there was no grease left in the casing, so that was probably the culprit.

Bonus pics of the LED swap/car
