Well I ended up selling it because it was my only car and I needed a bigger car for the Fam. The dude I sold it to wrapped it around a pole and completely totaled it. Sold the wrecked car for like 4200 lmao!

So now its build up time. Probably going to but a darton sleeved LS7 here soon to kick off the new engine. It'll be awhile before I hear her run though. All new stuff is soooooo expensive.....

Oh wow, sorry to hear that. So you are looking at a really serious and big budget setup it sounds like. Very nice

Yeah man it hurt to see it go:/

I figure this car isn't a daily so why not take my time and make some serious HP. Cars are only getting faster and I plan on having my daily driver (2010 BMW 535i) make 380-400 rwhp. So i wanted something in another league of speed when this thing is done. I also love all motor setups and I would love to tell people at the car meet that its packing a 4.8L LS with a 220r cam lol

Lol yep I can appreciate that. In my case I went with nitrous to level the playing field a bit, since I wanted that power as cheap as possible lol. My daily is a 2016 Mustang V6, and at 300 hp its not bad to have some small fun in lol. How much power are you wanting at this point?

That's completely understandable. I am shooting for 730ish flywheel hp so roughly 630 or so RWHP on motor. Just praying my 10-bolt can make it through the tuning session and a little fun before it implodes....

Well if it's any consolation my 10 bolt is still alive at around 600 rwhp, 4.10 gear and drag radials lol

Haha I am hoping that it lives! Eventually I'll put a 9" and a TR6060 but after spending alot on the motor I just want to drive it lol. I am contemplating leaving the 3.42's to have a prayer of hooking up. Haven't decided yet but a girdle is definitely in the cards at minimum.

Yeah I'm getting a rear end girdle here soon from a buddy of mine. Getting it real cheap so figured I would try it. I was looking at a 9 inch as well until I scored a really good deal on a torque arm, relocation mount for the torque arm, and some lca's. Now the S60 looks to be the best option. I think those 3.42's will be perfect with what you're planning

thanks man! There’s a lot of stuff going on with the channel so definitely check it out especially if you like cars! Going to do a video soon on the technicalities of LS engines and do a poll on the power plant selection. I’m hoping it’ll be a fun channel for car lovers

yeah 3.42’s then a 9 inch with 3.55’s. Maybe 3.89. All I know is I don’t want to spend a dime on the 10 bolt lol. If I’m spending money on a rear end im saving for the 9 inch
