have anyone tried these in a 98-02 trans am?

Found out They wont work, they are supposed to be really good lights

I was looking at different headlights and most led or hid are hard to fit into the firebirds thanks to the flip mechanism limiting the depth. It's just something that goes with having the cooler f-body headlights.

They wouldn't work because they're a 4651 lamp (100mm x 165mm commonly called 4x6) and the 98-02 Firebird takes the smaller 4701 / 4703 lamps (92mm x 150mm commonly called 3x5).

I have a 97 firebird and i put in 4x6 led headlights got mine on ebay from starklight had to do simple modifacations to get them to fit but it was simple works great and i needed a wire adapter because there plug was alittle different from mine but no biggy

The 4x6 lamps would fit 93-97 Firebirds but not 98-02.

I had to cut the back of the buckets that the lights sit in for clearance. Figured i had them out might as well paint them

Plugs were different so i made a adapter with wires and ends but u can buy a plug for the adaption

Thanks for posting the pics man. Can you show what it looks like maybe like 5-10 feet back from the car, with the lights off, but the headlights popped up?
